If you're reading this blog, you are likely interested to understand how AI is transforming our world.

This is exactly the purpose of AI-fication.

The term originates from The AI-fication of Jobs, a book I wrote in 2024 to analyse the impact of AI on jobs. At a time when it was already clear that AI would have a significant impact, I wanted to go deeper and understand the transmission mechanism between AI and jobs.

This led to three patterns: Mass Displacement, Supercharged Professionals, and Creative Disruptors. These are not isolated trends, but parallel forces shaping the future of work, many of which we are already seeing unfold.

I then extended this work through The AI-fication of Talents, a white paper now used by governments and organisations to understand what differentiates those who are thriving in an AI-driven world from those who are falling behind.

What is becoming increasingly clear is that AI-fication is not limited to jobs. It is happening across organisations, industries, and even nations.

In other words, AI-fication is a lens for understanding how Artificial Intelligence transforms any domains - by reshaping existing models, introducing new possibilities, and changing the path from what was to what is emerging.

This creates complexity. And while the topic is complex, the goal of this blog is not to add more noise. It is to make sense of what is happening, and to focus on what truly matters.

AI-fication is also a personal endeavour. It is a way for me to structure and refine my thinking. Writing publicly is, in my view, one of the most effective ways to learn.
